Patricia Estella (Minder) Eddy, 73, of Martins Ferry, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at WVU Medicine/Wheeling Hospital. She was born on September 3, 1952, the daughter of the late Eugene S. and Minnia Estella (Kelley) Minder.
Patricia retired from Softite Credit Union. A Christian by faith, she attended the First Baptist Church in Martins Ferry. She was a proud graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a diehard Purple Rider fan. She loved music, but most of all, she adored her family.
Trish was the devoted wife of Charles Eddy, Jr., sharing a deep and abiding love that was the foundation of their family. She poured her heart into raising their two sons and doted on her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her lively spirit, her unyielding kindness, and her profound impact on the lives she touched. Her legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Trish was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Stanley, and Jimmy Minder, and brother-in-law, John Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Eddy, Jr.; sons, Charles E. (Karen) Eddy and Patrick (Brianne) Eddy; grandchildren, Morgan (Chris) Pritchett, Tate Eddy, Adele Stillion, Claire Eddy, Jonas Eddy, and Zane Eddy; great-grandchildren, Daniel and Rowan Pritchett; siblings, Pamela Meeker, Cheryl (Rich) Wagner, Clayton (Julie) Minder, Mike (Julie) Minder, and Ricky (Vicki Onus) Mozena; sisters-in-law, Sharon Minder and Bernie Minder; and many nieces and nephews who complete her family.
Family and friends will be received Monday, August 31, 2026, from 3–8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935. Visitation will continue Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Wenger. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Garden in Pleasant Grove.
