Paul R. "Dick" Porter, Sr. 91 of Lansing, OH passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 13, 1932, in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Paul and Hattie Porter.

He was retired from the former Picoma Industries as a supervisor, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst and a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Forth, brother, Howard J. "Jimbo" Porter, and sister, Ruth Langer.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 70 years, Charlotte (Eitnier) Porter, children, Elizabeth (Nick) Forth, Paul Richard Jr., (Becky) Porter, Leslie (Wayne West) Huber, and Robert (Mary Ann) Porter,  grandchildren, Rachel (Paul) Dusza, Staff-Sergeant Jason Porter, Jared (Katie Novak) Huber, Christina (Jason) Dubil, Brittany Porter, great-grandchildren,  Zachary and Tyler Dusza, and Savanah Dubil , siblings, Arthur "Bob" (Carol) Porter, Pat Lekanidis, John (Sue) Porter, Dave Porter, Ed Porter, Charles "Buck" (Loretta) Porter complete the family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 3-7pm, Wake Service will be at 3pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhust, with Fr. John Mucha officiating. Full Military Honors will be presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association at the Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.
