Paul L. "PJ" Fitzhugh, Jr., 24, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Grant Hospital, Columbus, OH. He was born July 29, 1982 in Wheeling, WV a son of Paul L. and Terrie (Wheeler) Fitzhugh, Sr. He was an employee of Verizon Communications. Paul was a member of Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church of St. Clairsville, OH and a graduate of Martins Ferry High School Class of 2000 and Belmont Technical College Class of 2003. Paul was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William P. Fitzhugh and his maternal grandfather Rev. Charles F. Wheeler. Surviving in addition to his parents of Martins Ferry are his wife Amy (Whipkey) Fitzhugh, a sister Keisha Fitzhugh of Martins Ferry, paternal grandmother Tressie (Cochran) Fitzhugh of Martins Ferry, maternal grandmother Rose (Christian) Wheeler of Cadiz, OH, and several loving uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, July 27, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev.
