Paul A. Mitchell, 84, of Ohio Ave., West Lawn, Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at his residence. He was born Dec. 1, 1923 in Barton, OH a son of the late Harry L. and Grace (Huffman) Mitchell. He retired from the former Ohio Valley Dairy. Paul was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Brookside, OH, Belmont Lodge #16 F. & A.M. of St. Clairsville, OH, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville, OH. He was a veteran of the US Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas and Harry L. Mitchell, two sisters Mary Henceroth and Anna Hobson, and a nephew. Surviving are his wife of forty-three years Betty (Bluthardt) Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services were held by the family.
