Paul Ross Porter, 33, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday November 27, 2011 at OVMC, with his family at his side, following a courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy. He was born in Bellaire, Ohio on March 3, 1978, a son of Jim and Louise Lollathin Porter. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He was an avid fan of Wheeling Nailers, Florida Panthers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Bridgeport Bulldogs and Jeff Gordon. In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by two brothers: Jim (Trish) Porter of Shadyside, Ohio; and Tim Porter of the home; nephews Preston and Evan; a niece Taylor and his beloved dog Pixie. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio where funeral services will be held Thursday December 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport.
