Paul D. Rice, Sr., 72, of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Acuity Specialty Hospital, Bellaire, OH. He was born October 24, 1941 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Ernest Ray and Mureldine (Alltop) Rice. He was retired for the Martins Ferry Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Ernest R. Rice, Jr. and Larry L. Rice and sisters; Jesse M. Knepper and Betty L. Rice. Surviving are his son Paul Rice, Jr. of Brookside, OH, daughter, Vickie (Joe) Charlton of Shadyside, OH, two sisters; Leona Kay Rice of Bridgeport, OH and Rena (Rudy) Bauer of AZ, sister-in-law, Emma Rice of Martins Ferry, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
