Paul Thomas Vale, 84, of Flushing, Ohio, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Acuity Specialty Hospital. Born July 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Rex Vale and Ethel Cole Vale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur, Robert, Earl, and Don Vale; sisters, Martha Scouvart, Ethel Farmer, and Lily Vale.
Paul is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty J. Vale; daughter, Andrea K. Vale of Houston, Texas; son, Jeffrey A. Vale of Barnesville, Ohio; and brother, John S. Vale of Ingram, Texas.
A loving and devoted husband and father, Paul's family was his greatest blessing and nothing showed his strength more than his love for his family. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, former mayor of Flushing, loved gardening, and was a very skilled carpenter. He had a passion for helping others. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service, beginning at 11 am, Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio, where
Military Honors will be presented.

Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio, where Military Honors will take place.
