Zavatsky Paul David 74, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away Thursday December 13, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Paul was born May 27, 1938 in Barton, Ohio, the son of the late Samuel and Julia (Homza) Zavatsky. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by a sister Joanne Snyder. Paul's passion was music and entertaining people. He was a member of the Cheerful Bowlers and enjoyed bowling with his friends at the Seeing Hand. Paul was a canter and parishioner of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Barton, Ohio. Paul is survived by his brother Joe (Karen) Zavatsky with whom he resided, Brother Sam (Margaret) Zavatsky of Colerain, and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday December 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with Parastas Services at 7 pm. Panachida Services will be recited on Monday at 9 am at the Funeral Home. Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday December 17, 2012 at 10 am at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Barton, Ohio with Fr. Michael Kabel officiating. Interment in St. Nicholas Cemetery Barton.
