Pauline Leona Woodford Denger February 20, 1922 – September 30, 2017. Pauline, a life-long resident of Mt. Pleasant, OH, the daughter of the late Larry and Mamie Woodford, made her transition to heaven on September 30th, 2017. She died in the comfort of her home after a slow decline, in the loving care of her grandson, Joseph James (Jim) Helmbright Jr. She is survived by four daughters; Sandra (Dan) Call of Traverse City, MI, Sarah Helmbright of Harrisville, OH, Sharon (Paul) Cush of Chapel Hill, NC, and Sonya (Bob) Campbell of Adena, OH. She also had fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Myron "Bud" Denger, and an infant son, Charles Richard, as well as siblings, Oliver Woodford, Larry Woodford, and Mary Lou Bodor, grandson Jerald Helmbright and great grandson C.J. Gump. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with many passions. She loved her Lord and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church where she was quite active in the Couples Class and the Reid Missionary Group. She was an avid gardener and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Garden Club. Other interests included ceramics, major league baseball and traveling. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St. Dillonvale, OH 43917 with visitation Wednesday October 4 from 6-8pm, and Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held Friday October 6, 2017 at 11am at the funeral home with Reverend Lorraine Dill, and Byron McElroy officiating. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
