Pearl Louise Goddard, 81, of Blaine, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born on August 2, 1944, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Phillip and Pearl (Smith) Springer. Pearl retired from the Belmont Correctional Institute, and enjoyed working puzzles, gardening, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Goddard; children, Shelly Pyle, William (Danielle) Howell, Joshua Cope, and Sarah (Larry) Angel; a stepdaughter, Michelle Hadzima; a stepson, William (Dawn) Goddard; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers and several sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Patsy Welch.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.
