SHOULDERS, Pearl L. Cook, 86, of Rayland, Ohio, died Friday December 24, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born in Lost Creek, W.Va., on April 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Earnest and Elsie Lantz Cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Shoulders; two sons: David J. Shoulders Sr., and Leroy Shoulders Sr.; two brothers: Ralph and Russell Cook; a daughter in law Debra Shoulders and a grandson Ronald W. Shoulders Jr. Pearl is survived by four sons: Donald (Cynthia) Shoulders of Mingo Junction, Ohio, Ronald Shoulders of Hopedale, Ohio, Paul Shoulders of Rayland, Ohio and Thomas Shoulders (Cindy) of Tiltonsville; three daughters: Jane (Ed) Battles of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, Carol Shoulders of Rayland, Darlene (David) Workman of Simpson, W.Va.; a daughter in law Diana Shoulders of Brilliant, Ohio; two brothers: Arley Cook of Simpson, W.Va., and Albert (Vivian) Cook of Clarksburg, WV. 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 12 noon with Pastor James Monogioudis officiating.
