Peggy L. Holland Peggy L. Bruney Holland, 73, of Efaw Ave., St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Tue., Sept. 17, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Aug. 8, 1929 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Edward F. "Pie" and Helen Applegarth Bruney. She was the co-owner of the former Holland's Sohio, St. Clairsville and a former employee of the Martins Ferry and St. Clairsville Public Libraries, and was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, St. Clairsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl J. Holland. Surviving are a daughter Gretchen Snodgrass of St. Clairsville, a grandson Jacob Snodgrass and his wife Sondra of Columbus, a great grandson Joseph Snodgrass, a brother Edward D. "Pepper" Bruney and his wife Coral of Martins Ferry, two sisters Patti L. King and Gretchen A. Bruney both of Martins Ferry, a sister-in-law Betty J. Arbogast and her husband John of Springville, NY, and three nephews and three nieces. Friends will be received Wed. 7-9 PM and Thurs. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Sept. 20, 2002 at 10:00 AM with Revs. Lauri Armstrong and William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martins Ferry Public Library or the St. Clairsville Public Library.
