Peggy Jo Hatcher, 84, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022 at the Forest Hill Care Center in St. Clairsville, OH. She was born on September 12, 1938 in Newcomerstown, Ohio to the late James King and Mary Margaret (Clough) King.

Peggy was a telephone operator for over 30 years and was a member of the Bethesda Christian Church.  She loved traveling with her husband, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.  She was a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society and First Families of Belmont, Monroe and Guernsey counties.

She will be missed by her loving husband, Donald Hatcher; son, Rodney (Denise) Miller of Bethesda; stepchildren, Doug (Marilyn) Hatcher of Johnstown, OH, Dawn (Mick) Huth of Pleasant City, OH, Polly (Jeff) Guiler of Senecaville, OH, Tim Hatcher of Caledonia, MI, and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday November 9, 2022 from 3pm-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda, OH 43719.  On Thursday, November 10, 2022, visitation will be from noon until time of service at 1pm with Rev Tim Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow to Chestnut Level Christian Cemetery in Belmont, OH.
