Peggy G. "Ninny" Mattern, 76, of Bridgeport, OH, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital.  She was born November 30, 1941, in Bellaire, OH, a daughter of the late Cyril and Esther (Ringer) Ullom.  She was a Catholic by faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gene "Satch" Mattern Sr. in 2017; brothers, Robert, Fred, and William Ullom; and great-grandaughter, Emma Rose Vaughn.  Peggy is survived by her children, Penny (Bill) Harris, Gene (Michelle) Mattern Jr., all of Bridgeport;   grandchildren, Beth (Nate) Vaughn, Gene (Andrea) Mattern III, Kimberly (Bobby) Harris, Stacie (Austen) Cordery, Kellie Mattern; Great-grandchildren, Zoe, Haley, Sami, Eli, Ayvah, and Knoelle.  Friends will be received Wednesday, March 21, from 2-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH where funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, at 11am with Pastor Bruce Yates officiating.  Interment to follow a Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.  To offer online condolences please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com.
