PENELTON ""TOBAY"" CLARK, JR., 76, of Bellaire, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 at his home. He was born July 9, 1931 in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Penelton and Della Mae Thornton Clark, Sr. Tobay was retired from AEP and as a police officer with the Village of Bridgeport. He was a veteran with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was active with the NAACP and Children's Services. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Bannan Clark on December 30, 2007 as well as two sisters Georgianna and Geraldine Clark. Tobay is survived by three sons Penn Clark III and his wife Sherri of Durham, NC, Mario Clark and his wife Gretchen of Martins Ferry and Ryan Clark and his wife Heidi of Colerain; five brothers Tony, George, Melvin, Sherrod and Gregory Clark; a sister Merrilyn Wilcox; six grandchildren Pria, Noah, Marcus, Maria, Jonah and Elijah as well as many special nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Friends are then invited to attend visitation Thursday from 10 am until the time of the funeral services at 11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookside, with Pastor Scott Ness officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, Ohio 43943.
