Penny Sue (Gill) Hartley, 42, of Carlisle St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008 at home. She was born Apr. 1, 1966 in Martins Ferry a daughter of Sandy (Morris) Gill and the late Charles Gill. She was an employee of Peterson Nursing and Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling, WV. Surviving in addition to her mother of Martins Ferry are a son Sam Hartley of Morgantown, WV, two daughters Alyshia Hartley of Morgantown, and Christy (Jeremy) Griffith of Wheeling, WV, a brother Tim Gill of Martins Ferry, two sisters Evelyn Gill of Barnesville, OH, and Jennifer (John) Beck of Harrisville, OH. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at 11:00 am with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Burial follows in Rock Hill Cemetery, Bellaire, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the family in care of Joyce Taylor, 51790 Key Rd., Bellaire, OH 43906.
