Penny Jo Runnion, 53, of Martins Ferry, passed away April 5, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1967 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Linda Kay Rupp. Penny worked at Dutch Henry's in Martins Ferry for many years. She was a compassionate mom who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Penny is survived by her longtime friend and companion Dave Misenhelder; a daughter, Nikisha (Shaun) Woolley; a son, Michael Runnion; 2 sisters, Brenda Campbell and Pam Turley; 2 aunts, Patsy Speidel and Vickie Kettler; and 3 grandchildren, Charles, Peyton, and Abigail. Friends will be received Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11am-1:30pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry, OH 43935. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30pm in the funeral home with Rev. John Jackson officiating.
