Penny S. Shannon, 52,of Rayland, OH died Fri., Dec. 31, 2004 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born Nov. 5, 1952 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Allen D. and Colene E. (Toland) Shannon. She was owner/operator of the former Penny's Barber Shop, Yorkville, OH and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post #4811, Yorkville. Surviving are two sisters Peggy Lollathin of Dillonvale and Betty (Tony) Pietrangelo of Trenton, MI, two nephews George (Christine) Lollathin of Dillonvale and Gary Lollathin of Columbus, an uncle Urban Toland of Romulus, MI and three great nephews Gary, Christopher and Georgie Lollathin. Friends will be received Mon. 2-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tue., Jan. 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Cindy Foster officiating. Burial follows in Highland Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, OH.
