Pete Paul Ignacak, 79 of St. Clairsville passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 26, 1943, the son of the late John and Mary (Smigle) Ignacak.

He was retired from Sipple Development, Sewickley, PA as a Superintendent, a Veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam Conflict and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst.  Pete was a man of many talents and interest, he loved gardening, a gun enthusiast, his dog and on occasion going to the Casino.  However, his greatest joy was his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years; Dorothy Jean (Imer) Ignacak in 2016, son; Johnathan Ignacak and grandson; Petee Lee Ignacak, brothers; Tony and Andy Ignacak, sister Helen Imer.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Malynda Ignacak of St. Clairsville, Veronica Ignacak of Bridgeport, Tammy (Tim) Ney of Bellaire, and Pete (Amy) Ignacak of St. Clairsville, grandchildren; Cody (Alex) Ignacak, Randy, Harry, Ember Ignacak, Samantha (Austin) Bennett, Haley Ignacak, Allison (Cory) Woodford, Alex and Madisyn Ney and great-granddaughter; Nicole Ignacak,  lifelong friend; Jack Kerringer, and his best friend "Pooch".

Family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan 29, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8, Wake Service will be at 2 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside. Full Military Honors will be presented by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 9 am at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 30, 2023.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Avenue, Bridgeport, OH with Fr. John Mucha officiating, burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery.
