Peter P. Krahel Jr. 75, of St. Clairsville, died Sunday February 7, 2016 at his home. He was born May 6, 1940 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Peter P. Sr. and Martha (Hose) Krahel. He was a retired construction worker with Laborers Local # 809 Steubenville, a Catholic by faith, a member of the Lansing Sportsman Club, the Bridgeport Foresters, the Cave Club Wheeling, the Fairpoint Polish Club, and a veteran in the US Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Gerald "Buck", and Gene Krahel, also two sisters Virginia "Red" Griffiths, and Patricia Thomas. Pete is survived by his loving wife Sue (Mathews) Krahel, a son Chad (Tammi) Krahel of Gallatin Gateway MT., a daughter Paige (Terry) Sheba of Belmont, and two brothers Donald Krahel of St. Clairsville, and Robert "Bob" (Estelle) Krahel of Wolfhurst, two sisters Martha (Richard) Gretchen of Wolfhurst, and Judy (Dan) Crider of Columbus, three grandchildren Cullen, and Cole Krahel, and Sidney Sheba. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday February 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am with Fr. John Mucha officiating, entombment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. Full Military graveside will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
