Philip "Keith" Monahan, 55, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Monday, June 24, 2013 at his home. He was born November 2, 1957 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of the late Arthur E. Monahan and Winifred V. Steiner Monahan.
Keith was a 1976 graduate of Union Local High School and had worked as a district service manager for the Richwood Company. He had attended Bethesda United Methodist Church and was a member of the Molosser Motorcycle Club. He had a deep love of family and friends. Keith proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Bill Mayhugh.
Keith is survived by his wife, Lillie J. Monahan of Jacobsburg, Ohio; daughters, Misty (Joe) Kilmer of Hinesville, Georgia, Christy Taylor of Belmont, Ohio, April (Nate) Burrows of Fort Belvoir, Virginia; step-daughters, Dana (Bryan) Minder of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Christina (Jim) Wheeler of Tridelphia, West Virginia; step-sons, Bob (Katrinia) Goff, Jr. of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Ray (Kristy) Goff of Bellaire, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Mayhugh of Lancaster, Ohio, Twilia (Don) Kemp of Bethesda, Ohio; and brothers, Arthur (Sandy) Monahan of Bethesda, Ohio and Jim (Wanda) Monahan of Barnesville, Ohio.
Visitation for Keith will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Ed Emory will be officiating. Interment will follow at Armstrongs Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
