WARD, Philip "Tiny" M., 68, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Friday January 20, 2012, at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Wheeling on April 12, 1943, a son of the late Philip and Josephine Markie Ward. Philip worked as a car salesman for various dealerships in the area and also Columbus. Before his retirement, he was one of the original table games dealers at Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino. In 1960 he was the OVAC Wrestling Champion for Bridgeport and in 1961 did the same for Martins Ferry High School. He is survived by a sister, Patricia Ward of the home and a special friend Mary Ann Price of Bridgeport. In keeping with Philip's wishes, there will be no visitation and a private interment.
