Phyllis Lee Garner 76 of Columbus formerly of Lansing died Thursday November 22, 2012 at her home. She was born April 5, 1936 in Martin Ferry, a daughter of the late Harold and Louise T. (Derell) Eaton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald G. Garner in 2003. She was a member of Lansing United Methodist Church, a Retired Register Nurse for OVMC in the Operating Room, and a member of the Association of Operating Nurses. Phyllis is survived by her daughters Debra (Archie) McCormick of Hilliard, Ohio and Sharon Garner of Columbus, two grandchildren Patrick Mills, and Jade McCormick, sisters Carol (David) Morrison of Colerain, Holly (Ken) Kaufher Raleigh NC. Fiends re invited to attend a celebration of Phyllis's life on Sunday November 25, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. Services will be held on Monday at 11 am with Rev. James Hoff officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
