R. Richard "Rich" Jackson, 62, of Center St., Martins Ferry; OH died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Jan. 25, 1948 in Wheeling,, WV a son of the late Harry S. and Sarah (Dillie) Jackson. He was a Methodist by faith, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Harry J., Clifford, Eddie, and Irvin Jackson, two sisters Zell Ringer, and Connie Abling. Surviving are a brother Victor (Marie) Jackson of Martins Ferry, two sisters Vickie (Bill) Nickerson of Wheeling, WV, and Wilma (Thomas) Heath of Short Creek, WV.
