Rachel M. Smith Rachel M.(Donley) Smith, 78, of N. Zane Hwy, Martins Ferry, OH died Thurs., Mar. 11, 2004 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born July 22, 1925 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late George and Helen Riell Donley. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry , U and I Sunday School Class and Senior Saints. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roland Smith, a grandchild Mario Rossini, and a brother George Donley. Surviving are a son Roland D. Smith of Martins Ferry, three daughters Helen Yensen and her husband Carl of Wheeling, Bonnie Rossini and her husband Rocky and Tammy Takach and her husband Bruce both of Colerain, a brother Tom Donley and his wife Judy of Colerain, and a sister Delora Hungerman of AL, eight grandchildren Chad and Justin Yensen, Rachelle and Shayla Takach, Lance and Luke Rossini, Heather Smith, and Stephanie Laguardia, and two great grandchildren Tyler McVicker and Meadow Laguardia. Friends will be received Sat. 6-8 PM and Sun 12-3 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Mar. 15, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
