Rachel Haggerty Owens Hudock, 90. A longtime resident of Yorkville, Ohio. She passed away peacefully October 12, 2015 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the last seven months. Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Fred Haggerty, four sisters, and three brothers. A very special friend John. Rachel is survived by her sons, Lowell R. (Cynthia) Owens of Scio, Michael Owens of Cleveland, John Hudock of Martins Ferry, and a daughter Margret (Frank) Kleeh of Yorkville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great- great- grandchildren. Rachel will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews that she proudly called her own. Rachel worked at and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburg Steel in Yorkville. Rachel was also a waitress when her children were young. Rachel is well known for her homemade cookies and zucchini bread. Her favorite pastime was attending the Senior Center in Martins Ferry. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Pittsburg Steelers and the Wheeling Nailers. Over the years she accumulated a vast collection of angels. She attended The Yorkville Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main Street Tiltonsville on Thursday October 15, 2015 from 10 am till time of service at 1 pm with Rev. Thomas T.
