Ralph C. Lucki, Sr., 85, of Brookside, died Monday, March 2, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling. He was born August 25, 1924 in Bridgeport, a son of the late Ralph N. and Mary A. (Swaldo) Lucki. Ralph was a retired employee with Wheeling Corrugating Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel; the Co-Owner of the former Lucki Brothers Gulf Station in Aetnaville; The Lucki Brothers Excavating and was a retired custodian for St. Joseph Central School in Wolfhurst. He was a member of the Bridgeport Forrester's Club, and was a veteran of WWII with the U.S. Navy Sea-Bees. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leah J. (Schroeder) Lucki, and a brother, Martin Lucki. Ralph is survived by three sons, Ralph C. Jr. and his wife Debbie, of Wheeling, Bruce and his wife Denise, of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Ron and his wife Michelle, of Powell; one brother Joseph Lucki and his wife Joyce of Wheeling, two sisters, Edith Meigh of Lansing, and Alice Kyanko of St. Clairsville; nine grandchildren Ryan, Brandon, Jared, Kyle, Cassie, Jordan, Aaron, Lauren, and Addison. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, where Vigil services will be held at 3:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Rev. John Mucha officiating. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
