RAMONA LEE MAYHUGH
Ramona Lee Mayhugh passed away February 15, 2021, one day before her 91st birthday. Born February 16, 1930 in Bethesda, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Virginia (Church) Mayhugh. As well as her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Roger Mayhugh.
She loved music. Ramona played the mandolin and together with her family, their musical talent was inspirational to many. The family was known as the "Singing Mayhughs." Ramona also enjoyed and was very gifted in restoring old dolls and entering them in competitions.
Privately, Ramona's family will gather, sharing memories, stories, and reflecting on a life well lived. Cherishing Ramona's memory are those who survive; sister, Lois (Harold) Shrader and brother, James (Ruth) Mayhugh all of Bethesda; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made in Ramona's name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia 22116-7023.
