Obituary

Randall Jay Norris, 67 of Wheeling formerly of Colerain, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at WVU Medicine-Wheeling Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born July 11, 1956, in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Norman R. and Barbara A. (Shenton) Norris.

Randy retired and worked at various companies from Crystaloid, CVS, Frito Lay and Land-O-Lakes.  He attended the Colerain Presbyterian Church, a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He attended West Point Academy, and The Ohio State University.  He was a man of many talents, always putting God and country first, however, most important to him was being a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly (Vargo) Norris and brother-in-law, Harold Grimes,

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marylyn (Poulain) Norris, children, Shiloh Norris, Jeremy (Kayla) Norris, two granddaughters, his sisters, Norma (William) Graff, Pamela Grimes, Becky (David, Jr.) Horne, Susan (Robert) Lavy.

Family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 5-8. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 10am at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Ellis and Pastor Kurt Turner officiating with burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.  Full Military Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Belmont County Veterans Association.
