Randy E. Habig, Sr., 50, of Rayland, OH, died Oct. 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born Mar. 2, 1963 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of Richard H. Habig of Piedmont and Margaret Ann (Lynn) Habig of Colerain, OH. He was retired from Kalkreuth Roofing of Wheeling, WV. Randy was a member of the NRA and the North American Hunting and Fishing Club. Surviving in addition to his parents are his step-mother Rita Habig, his wife Luann (Bennett) Habig, two sons; Randy E. Habig, Jr. of Colerain, and Derek E Habig of Rayland, two brothers; Richard (Liz) Habig of Scio, OH and Jeff (Sandy) Habig of Colerain, a sister Cindy Turley of Moundsville, WV, a half-brother Paul (Denise) Kopyciok of United Kingdom, a granddaughter Haley Marie and 22 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews who all loved him with great affection. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm where services will be held Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
