Ray Maurice Besece, 90, of Dillonvale, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Dillonvale on October 27, 1928 a son of the late Carlo and Velma (Ulczynski) Besece.  Ray served his country in the United States Navy and was a life member of the National Rifle Association, he was also a member of the Pine Valley Sportsman Club the Dillonvale American Legion and the Teamsters.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lorraine (Blahovec) Besece; sons, Robert (Joyce) Besece and Byron (Kathy) Besece all of Dillonvale; a daughter, Karen Rae (Nick) Campagna of Georgetown, TX; a brother, Carl (Adonna) Besece; a sister, Monica (Tino) Viviana; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  The family is being served by the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 2nd St., Dillonvale.
