Rena M. Emory Blaney, 84, of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully, July 10, 2011 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia, with her loving family members by her side. She was born October 11, 1926 in Bethesda, Ohio, daughter of the late G.D. Emory and Joey Craft Emory. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Glen and Arlos; and sisters, Audry and Juanita. Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Willard O. "Bill" Blaney; six children, Sheila (Hank) Fitzpatrick of Wheeling, West Virginia, Rodney (Wanda) Blaney of Cross Junction, Virginia, Cindy (Dale) Ward of Wheeling, West Virginia, Nancy (Al) Bishop of Wheeling, West Virginia, Tim (Lesia) Blaney of Stephen City, Virginia, and Beverly (Bob) Gibb of New Martinsville, West Virginia; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Edward Emory of Bethesda, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members. Rena was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and special friends; Patty, Amy, Marge, Lynn, Nancy, Kortnie, Macie, and Cindy. She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and holding hands with her husband, Bill. The sun shined, as her soul soared to heaven. Visitation will be held at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home in Bethesda, Ohio on July 12, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Services will be conducted on July 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
