Reta June Coen, 88 of Mount Pleasant, passed away Wednesday March 16, 2022, in East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1933, in Spencer, WV a daughter of the late George Hinsman and Ina (Ferrell) Post. Reta was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 children, Delbert (Sharon) Coen, Diana Charlton, and Roger (Mary Anne) Coen; a brother, Roger Post; 2 sisters, Carol Toland and Linda (George) Tice; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Reta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Van Albert Coen on January 10, 2020; a daughter, June Rawson; a brother, Sonny Post; 5 sisters, Ina Mae Kuhn, Flora Post, Sandy Post, Kathy Smith, and Cheryl Bennett; twin granddaughters and an infant great grandson, Isaac Parsons.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-6 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Staley officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
