Rex A. Kaiser, 92, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at Barnesville Health Care Center. He was born July 21, 1919 in Kirkwood Township, Ohio, son of the late Clarence Kaise and Gretta Stine Kaiser.
Rex was a former Barnesville School bus driver and later worker as a truck driver with Landmark of Bethesda, Ohio. He was a long standing member of Belmont Pomona, Ohio State Grange and Belmont County Farm Bureau. He was a 44 year member of Barnesville Main Street United Methodist Chuch.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wayne Kaiser.
Rex is survived by his wife of 71 years, Verna Burson Kaiser; daughters, Marjorie (Don) Wolford of Circleville, Ohio and Marilyn (Jay) Knight of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchldren.
Family and friends may call, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio, where services will be conducted, Wednesday 11 a.m. Pastor Richard Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
