Rhonda Sue (Stabile) Bernardo, 63, of Martins Ferry OH died Monday, September 7, 2020 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born March 27, 1957 in San Francisco, CA, a daughter of Barbara June (Kirkpatrick) Stabile and the late Carl A. Stabile.

Since 1975 she has worked for United Bank of Wheeling, WV and was Martins Ferry City Treasurer. Rhonda was a member of First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry where she served as Treasurer for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Nickie J. Bernardo, her daughter, Gina N. Bernardo of Martins Ferry, a sister, Joyce Ann (David Snyder) Stewart, her uncle, Jeff Kirkpatrick of GA, and nieces and nephews: Jamie Stewart, Dawn (Jesse) Outward, Shayla (Nate) Starkey and their baby, Luca, and Damon (Dorothy) Outward.

Private funeral services will be held at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH with Beth Medlyn officiating. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
