Obituary

ANUSKEWIC, Richard Earl "Dick", 82, formerly of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Saturday April 30, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on October 1, 1928, a son of the late Joseph and Mary Kukevich Anuskewic. He was the former owner of Dick's Nite Club; a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was a Deluxe linebacker for the Class of 47 Bridgeport High School; he also had the opportunity to play football at the University of Chattanooga, but chose to enter the family business instead. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Anuskewic. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Eleanor Rambilas Anuskewic; two daughters: Deborah Moseson of Pasadena, MD., and Toni Marie Heatherington of Wheeling, W.Va., four grandchildren: Alise Moseson; Kyle Richard Moseson; Holly & Josh Heatherington; and great-grandchildren: Preston Heatherington and Paxton Schau. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday May 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Bridgeport, with Reverend John Mucha as celebrant.
