Richard J. Banco, 67, of Cadiz formerly of Bridgeport, died Friday November 28, 2014 at Harrison County Community Hospital Cadiz. He was born July 4, 1947 in Wheeling, a son of the late Joseph J. and Lydia (Matusek) Banco. He was a former welder for Miller Process Piping Inc., a Catholic by faith, a veteran in the US Army, and a member of the NRA. He loved riding his motorcycles. Richard is survived by a son Richard (Mary-Jo) Banco of Gahanna, Ohio, a brother Joseph (Sherry) Banco of St. Cairsville, two grandsons Noah, and Jude Banco, a nephew Joseph (Paula) Banco of Mercer, Pa., cousins Mary, Patty, Kathy, and Betty, two special cousins John, and Brian. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday December 1, 2014 from 4-7 pm, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am with Fr. John Mucha officiating, interment in St. Anthony Cemetery Blaine.
