Richard H. "Dick" Wilson, 83, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born May 30, 1930 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Raymond E. Wilson, Sr. and Marie R. (Tuskey) Wilson. Dick was a retired Estimator at the Corporate Office of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and worked for Heslop Funeral Home for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis J. (Craver) Wilson, his son Douglas Jon Wilson, his sister, Elvina M. Eden and his brother Raymond E. Wilson, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Betty M. (Jones) Wilson, his sons; Richard Craig (Nancy) Wilson of Martins Ferry and Dwayne D. (Brandi) Wilson of Akron, OH, a daughter, Jenifer L. (Bill) Nolan of Bethlehem, WV and grandchildren Ashley and Aaron Wilson and Kiersten Nolan. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at 10:30 am with Rev. David Stammerjohn and Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Deacons of the church will hold services Monday at 7 pm in the funeral home.
