Richard Alan Dunlap Sr, 79, of Kirkwood Heights, Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday August 7, 2011 at home. He was born in Shadyside, Ohio on August 16, 1932, a son of the late Edgar and Austie Beulah Ryan Dunlap. Richard was a retired mechanic with Consolidated Coal Company; a member of the Wheeling Church of Christ, and a U. S. Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mickie Hendershot Dunlap; a sister Betty Schram, a brother Roger Dunlap and a son in law, Alan Craig. Richard is survived by three children: Sherri (Doug) Rutan of Marysville, Ohio, Kelli Craig of Shadyside, a son, Rick (Theresa) Dunlap of Bridgeport; sisters: Evelyn and Fay; three grandchildren: Abbey Rutan, Ricky and Kyle Dunlap. Friends will be received 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 10, 2011 at Wheeling Church of Christ, 1310 National Road, Wheeling, WV., with Ron Stullenbarger, officiating.
