Richard Edward Gillies Iii's Obituary
Richard Edward Gillies III, 49 of Martins Ferry passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling. He was born January 29, 1972, in Hahn, Germany. He was the son of the late Richard E. Gillies II and Patricia (Zurek)Gillies-Hercules.
He was a cashier for the BellStores in Bridgeport and an Eagle Scout. He was Christian by faith.
Richard is survived by his stepfather John Hercules of Martins Ferry, sister; Margaret (Brian) Lucas of Belmont, brother; John (Kelley) Hercules of Barnesville, nephews; Zachary, John, Jace and niece Alexandra.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8, with funeral services at 4:00pm at the Funeral Home with Rev. James Hoff officiating.
