Richard L. Ging Richard L. Ging, 72, of Colerain, OH died Mon., Aug. 18, 2003 at home. He was born Mar. 8, 1931 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late William and Hannah (Henry) Ging. He was retired from the Bellaire office of Columbia Gas of Ohio. Rich was a veteran of the U.S. Army Korean War, a member of Belmont Lodge #16 F. & A. M. of St. Clairsville, and a Methodist. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife Martha L. (Vance) Ging, three sons Richard (Holly) Ging, Jr. and Patrick (Janice) Ging both of Shadyside, OH, and Michael (Roslyn) Ging of Colerain, a daughter Cathy (Jim) Rothermund of Mt. Olivet, WV, two sisters Dorothy Beihl and Helen McKitrick both of Wheeling and nine grandchildren Trent, Trevor, Mikayla, Madison, Macie, Patrick and Megan Ging, and Derek and Chad Rothermund. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Wed. 3-5 & 7-9 PM and Thurs , Aug. 21, 2003 from 11AM until time of services at 1:00 PM when the Rev. Van D. Fisher will officiate. Internment will follow at the convenience of the family in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Masonic Ritualistic services will be held Wed. at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
