Richard Walton Henry, 88, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away June 5, 2012 at Hennis Care Center in Dover, Ohio. He was born February 13, 1924 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Marion W. Henry and Helene J. McBurney Henry. Richard retired from AT&T. He volunteered for the Army Air Corp., attained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, and was a B25 Bomber Pilot. After the war ended, he married Juanita Postlethwait January 23, 1946 in St. Clairsville Ohio. Together, they had three children; Douglas, Michael, and Marsha. After Juanita passed away September 8, 1980, Richard married Phyllis Mayberry, August 14, 1991. Phyllis passed away April 22, 2012. In addition to his parents and both wives, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Henry Marsh. Richard is survived by sons, Douglas (Mary) Henry, of Dover, Ohio and Michael (Lisa) Henry, of New Philadelphia, Ohio; step-daughter, Debbie Maxwell, of Bethesda, Ohio; grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Henry, Megan, Brian, and Allison Henry, Kimberly and Andrew Marsh, Jeremy (Lacey) Marsh, Kristen (Frank) Dallas, Melissa, Amy, and William Meyers; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Collin Henry, Serenity Marsh, Elizabeth and Noah Dallas. Richard's children want to acknowledge their wonderful "uncle" Jack (Delores) Jordan, of Wyoming. Friends may visit, Friday 5 to 8 p.m. at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio where services will be conducted, Saturday 11 a.m. Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
