Richard D. "Trapper Gray Fox" Lashhorn, 66, of Rayland died Friday June 14, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born May 28, 1947 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late John J. and Rose Lee Lashhorn. He was a retired employee of Center Foundry Wheeling, a Methodist by faith, a member of the NRA, the North American Hunting Club, Past Chairman and President of Center Foundry Employees, President and Vice President of Local #4942, Chairman of the Safety Committee # 4842, Grievance Man for Local #4842, the Pensition Committee, Chairman of the Training Committee, and a member of the Munsee Delaware Nation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Douglas Lashhorn, a sister June Williams, his companion Susanna Lushbaugh. Rich is survived by a son Richard D."Pete" Lashhorn II and his wife Shaun, granddaughters Kimberly Lashhorn and her fiancé Kevin A'Hearn, Kristen Lashhorn, and Kylee (Ryan) Kimble, and six great grandchildren. According to Rich's wishes there will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of he family with Minster Kevin A'Hearn officiating, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
