Obituary

Richard "Pumpsie" Lee Henry, 74, of Dillonvale, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Liza's Place.  He was born on March 26, 1947, in Martins Ferry a son of the late Raymond and Thelma (Kramer) Henry.  He served his country in the United States Army, retired from the Buckeye Local School System where he was a schoolteacher for over 30 years.  Richard was also a member of the Pine Valley Sportsman Club and the Dillonvale Eagles, he was an avid gardener, fisherman and Boston Red Sox's fan.

He is survived by 3 nieces, Sylvia (Steven) Gehring, Stacy (David) Morris and Alexis Henry; a nephew, Scott Henry; a sister-in-law, Sally Henry and friend, Denise Mass.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Gary Henry and his twin brother, Roger Henry.

Friends may call Wednesday, from 4-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am in the funeral home with Reverend James Mongioudis officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
