Obituary

Richard Jay "Rick' Holloway, 71, of Flushing, Ohio, died, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his home. Born June 11, 1945 in Flushing, Ohio, Rick was the son of the late Shirley Nias Holloway and Dorothy Wagner Holloway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Holloway; brother, Randy Holloway; and his in-laws, Alice and Clarence Piper. Rick is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda K. Holloway of Flushing, Ohio; daughter, Holly (Darin) Triplett of Flushing, Ohio; grandchildren, Brandon and Cody Triplett, Katy (Cody) Cassell; soon-to-be great-grandson, Emmett; sister, Betty Roush of Flushing, Ohio; brothers, Ronald (Martha) Holloway of Columbus, Ohio, Robert (Marlene) Holloway of Cadiz, Ohio; and leaving behind nieces, nephews, and many friends. Rick's deep and unconditional love for his family brought much love in return, as a husband, father, and pap. He was gifted for having the talent of being able to do "anything." He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Flushing Racing Pigeon Club. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday from 5-9 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio, where the service for Rick will be conducted, Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob Merritt officiating.
