Richard Lee Schrickel, 74 of Adena passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born November 12, 1948, the son of the late Raymond T. and Eva Louise (Heskett) Schrickel.

He was retired from CONSOL Coal Company as a Supervisor, a member of the Smithfield Masonic Lodge #182, he loved Drag Racing, he was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye's fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kevin Schrickel in 1988.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Beth (Dan) DaRe of Summerville, SC, Mark (Michelle) Schrickel of Henrico, VA, grandchildren, Lauren and Shane DaRe, Sydney and Cole Schrickel, sister, Janie (Frank) Rose of Toronto.

Graveside Services will be held later this summer at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.  Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside is assisting the family.
