Shannon, Richard Lee, 56, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed Tuesday August 28, 2012 at Trinity West. He was born in Canton, Ohio on January 11, 1956, a son of the late Clarence and Lillian Russell Shannon. Richard was a former truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Jackie and Charles Shannon. Richard is survived by a brother Clarence Shannon Jr. (Barbara) of Cadiz, Ohio; five sisters: Libby Burger (Gary) of Florida, Barbara Johnson (Steve) of Dillonvale, Pearl Irene Walker (Rick) of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Dolores Keen (Roger) of Lexington, Ohio, Debbie Shannon of Mt. Vernon; and his companion Eleanor McIntyre. Friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation to pay tribute to Richard at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale on Saturday September 8, 2012, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon.
