Richard Pierson Summers, 73, of Blaine Chermont Road, Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Tuesday June 18, 2013 at home. He was born in Missouri on August 22, 1939. Richard was a former employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of American Legion St. Clairsville Post #159, and an instructor at Belmont Technical College. Richard is survived by his son Rusty Poland. In keeping with Richard's wishes, there will be no visitation. The family is being assisted by Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio.
