Rita I. (Malatesta) Roth, 82, of Colerain, OH died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at home. She was born February 27, 1933 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Flory and Emma (Uphold) Malatesta. She was retired from the Martins Ferry School District Dietary Department and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Roth, Sr. and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her three sons, Ronald (Stella) Roth, Jr. of Lexington, KY, Mark (Dawn) Roth and Kirk (Karen) Roth all of Martins Ferry, ten grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Roth of Lexington, Angela (Rusty) Lucey of Bridgeport, OH, Kirk (Katie) Roth Jr., of Martins Ferry, Scott (Angela) Roth of Dillonvale, OH, Nic Roth of Lexington, Derek Roth of Orlando, FL, Mary Fister of Lexington, Sherree (Adam) Lewis of Bridgeport, Brady (Sommer) Roth of Martins Ferry, Beth Roth of Lexington, 14 great grandchildren, Noah and Savanah Roth, Caroline Roth and Tre Fister all of Lexington, Baron and Keenan Lucey of Bridgeport, Tenley Roth and Teagan Munas of Dillonvale, Adriana and Layne Lewis of Bridgeport, and Laken, Lanee, Tanner and Kodie Roth of Martins Ferry and sisters, Isabelle Stopera of Colerain, Ann Davies of NC and Jenny Malatesta of Ft. Mills, SC. Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH Friday, 3-8 p.m. where services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Riders Post #557, 1212 Two Ridge Rd., Wintersville, OH 43953 and American Legion Riders Post #159, 100 Legion Rd., P.O.
