Robert A. Barr Robert A. Barr, 55, of Oak St., Martinsburg, WV, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Jul. 8, 2002 at home. He was born Dec. 13, 1946 in Martins Ferry a son of Rome E. Barr and the late Rhea L. Sivert Barr He was retired from the General Services Administration, a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion and was a veteran of the US Air Force. In addition to his father of Martins Ferry he is survived by his wife Ara Todd Barr, two sons Aaron Robert Barr of Long Island, NY and Walter Barr of Germany, a daughter Betty Terese Barr of PA, three stepsons Timothy Brown, Jr. of Wheaton, MD, Patrick Brown of Altha, FL and Todd Lee of Martinsburg, three stepdaughters Victoria Smith of Florence, SC, Melany Beatty of Altha, FL and Rhonda Ford of Chester, VA, a sister Rhonda Jo Barr of Columbus, and twenty four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Thurs. 6-9 PM where services will be held Fri., Jul. 12, 2002, at 1:00 PM with Revs. Roberta Croker and Joe Ellis officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W.
